As we gather not only to climb stairs, but to carry the memory of the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice on September 11, 2001.

Each step taken during the 10th Annual Columbia Stair Climb will serve as a powerful reminder of the courage, selflessness, and unwavering commitment displayed by our nationโ€™s first responders. As firefighters, law enforcement officers, EMS personnel, families, and community members climb together, we honor the 343 firefighters, 70 law enforcement officers, and 9 EMS professionals who answered the call without hesitation and paid the ultimate sacrifice.

Their legacy lives on through every act of service, every life saved, and every person who chooses courage over fear.

This climb is about more than remembrance, it is about gratitude. Gratitude for those who ran toward danger when others were running away. Gratitude for the families who continue to carry their loved onesโ€™ memories. Gratitude for the first responders who continue to serve our communities every single day.

We will never forget their sacrifice.
We will never forget their courage.
We will never forget September 11, 2001.

๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ โ€œNo duty is more urgent than that of returning thanks.โ€
