🎒📚 The countdown is on! 📚🎒

The P.E.A.C.E. & H.O.P.E. Center for Youth is excited to invite our community to our 2026 Back to School Bash! 🎉

As another school year begins, we want to help every student walk into the classroom feeling confident, prepared, and supported. Thanks to the generosity of our amazing community partners and volunteers, we’ll be providing FREE school supplies, shoes, haircuts, physicals, food, games, music, and so much more while supplies last!

📅 Saturday, August 22, 2026
⏰ 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM
📍 John B. Lange Middle School
2201 Smiley Lane
Columbia, MO

This day is about more than backpacks and school supplies. It’s about reminding our young people that they are valued, loved, and capable of accomplishing great things. When a community comes together, we can help ensure every child starts the school year with hope and confidence.

A huge thank you to all of our sponsors, community partners, volunteers, and supporters who continue to believe in our youth and invest in their future. We couldn’t do this without you!

Please LIKE, SHARE, and TAG a family who could benefit from this event. Together, let’s make sure every child has the opportunity to start the school year strong.

Make sure to get on the peace and hope website and pre register.

Come Ready. Leave Inspired. 💙💛

If anyone is interested, please come out to the Columbia Board of Education Listening Session this Saturday.

This is an important opportunity for our community to understand what our school district is doing for our kiddos and where things are headed. Just as important, it gives YOU a chance to be heard.

Our voices matter. Our kids matter. And the future of our community starts with being informed and involved.

Let’s show up, speak up, and stand for our youth. 💪🏽

Here lately CoMo have been in an increasing conversation about violent crime surrounding our youth. There have been many gatherings of the minds to discuss solutions. But where do we stand when it comes to getting on the front lines to solve these issues? I say “issues” because, me personally, I don’t believe that there is a one size fits all approach that can heal a community steeped in trauma and poverty!

Let your voice be heard...Come join us Saturday, Feb 21st, from 12:00 to 2:00pm at the Peace and Hope Center for Youth for a First Ward Meet-Up. Violence is a public health crisis that must be addressed. Together, we will amplify community voices, listen to music, eat food, and have a chance to win a raffle prize. RSVP today to join us.
