✨ What a day yesterday was. ✨

May 30th had me in two rooms full of power, purpose, and people doing the work — and I’m still feeling the energy. 🌹

I had the honor of joining the STAND Women’s Empowerment Brunch representing . The theme — “Empowered Through Adversities” — hit home. This is exactly why we do what we do. Every woman in that room is proof of wisdom, power, and strength. 💪🏽

I was deeply moved to serve as guest speaker at the Junior League of Howard County’s 1st Annual Changemakers Scholarship Awards Celebration — an afternoon dedicated to honoring the next generation of women leaders in our county.

And I have to give a very special CONGRATULATIONS to scholarship recipients Isha and Rayna 🎉🎊 — you are exactly the changemakers this community needs. Your futures are BRIGHT, and we are all cheering you on. Keep going. The world needs your voice. 🌟

🎨🪵 CALLING ALL YOUNG STUDENT ARTISTS!

We need YOUR creativity for something special at Freetown Farm!

Columbia Community Care is growing — literally! 🌱 We have a garden at Freetown Farm, and we need a handcrafted wooden sign to mark it as our own. This garden feeds our neighbors through CCC’s food distribution, and we want a sign that honors that mission with heart and artistry.

Here’s what we’re looking for:

🌿 A wooden sign that can withstand outdoor weather year-round
🌿 Clearly identifies the space as the Columbia Community Care Garden
🌿 Reflects that the produce grown here goes directly to CCC food distribution for families in our community
🌿 YOUR unique artistic touch — carved lettering, painted details, wood burning, whatever speaks to you!

📅 Submit your design by June 5th — then our amazing CCC social media family will vote on the sign we bring to life!

This is your chance to leave a permanent mark on something that feeds and uplifts our Howard County community. We can’t wait to see what you create. 💚

So honored to be recognized by the with the Community Impact Award! It really takes a village to do this work, and it’s only possible because of the incredible support of our volunteers and donors.

Congrats to all of the other awardees! It was amazing to share a room with some many other individuals and business making a difference in our community.

I am so excited that The Source is coming to our community — the safe and joyful space, the welcoming, the nurturing, all of this matters and will make such a positive difference in the neighborhood and in the whole region. I can't wait for the grand opening!
