At the shelter she is a playgroup rockstar and one of our helper dogs for assessments! Honestly, this girl is the total package. She’d be a great choice for a first time dog owner or as a beloved family pet. Please come meet this great girl and give her a forever home!

Toffee is sweet, but needs to keep her hand out of the sweets drawer 🍬
She was clearly spoiled with food and could do with a diet so she can be as healthy as possible!

Toffee is a great pup to bring into you home and heart - she is great on the leash, very chill, knows sit, and is very friendly!

Toffee is one stray-hold until 8/26. She is already spayed so if her owner does not claim her before that date, she is available to take home as soon as you fall in love with her sign those papers !

We love our animal control officers and all the hard work they do to save lives! Take Bryon for example. He was chained up to a pole and despite having dug a whole in the dirt to try and keep cool, he was showing signs of significant heat stress. Our ACOs stepped in and saved his life. Now the next step is finding him a forever home with air conditioning!

Bryon is a good boy who is confused why he is here. Granted, it’s an upgrade from the pole, but he knows there is better out there! He is decent on the leash and loves to check out his surroundings. He may know sit, but right now is just figuring out his day-to-day. This handsome boy is short with a gorgeous gray brindle coat!

“Things are always better in the morning” - Harper Lee 🐦📖

Harper is hoping you will be at the shelter with leash in hand first thing in the morning. Harper is a petite and playful pup who is ready to turn the page to reach her next chapter. She’s currently underweight, but that hasn’t stopped her from having fun and being eager to enjoy life!

Harper is good on the leash, dog social and always ready for a little playtime. Sometimes the smallest characters can make the biggest impact.

Jade is a hidden gem waiting to shine 💚

Jade is a small, gorgeous merle puppy with a shy personality. She’s happy to stroll along (or be carried) to her next destination. She loves to use her expert little nose to explore all the new smells around her!

Right now, Jade is interested in toys or really much other than all the smells at the shelter! Take her outside and she goes nose straight the ground and gets a’going! She’s just figuring out the world at her own pace!

Daniel is one big chunk of potential! He just needs your patience and love to get here 💙

Despite the fact that Daniel is a big boy, he think he’s just a baby who needs protecting. Daniel is great on the leash and easy to walk and handle. He doesn’t show much interest in treats or toys, right now he is just trying to figure out if he is safe and if he can trust you.

Daniel is nervous and sometimes flinches when he is touched or started by movement. He is trying to be brave and will come up to sniff you, but if you move to quickly or look at him, he gets scared and retreats 🥺. Daniel needs someone who understands that confidence takes time and is wiling to give him the space and quiet to decompress and settle.

In a world of ordinary dogs, Blade is something a little more…special. She’s a light that has burned twice as bright and has burned so very, very brightly (Please tell me someone gets this reference)

Blade has seen this movie already; she’s been a stray in the shelter once before, but this time her owner has not come to get here. But that means she is spayed and ready to go same day!

Blade is a happy girl who is always smiling. She is extremely wiggly and loves to go-go-go, but once her energy is burned out, she loves to rest her head in your lap and soak up the pets.
