I’ve been checking these peonies every morning like a kid waiting for Christmas.

And this morning they finally opened.

I don’t know when I became this emotionally invested in flowers, but here we are. 😂💛

Still waiting on the peonies… 😏
But the lupine are blooming, the bees are busy, and for about five quiet minutes yesterday, life felt soft again 🌸🐝
