🇺🇸 June is a Month of Awareness, Understanding, and Support 🇺🇸

At The Buddy System Inc. we recognize two important awareness campaigns that impact many of the veterans and service members we serve.

💚 National PTSD Awareness Month Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder affects millions of Americans, including many who have served our nation. PTSD is not a sign of weakness—it is a response to trauma. This month, we encourage our community to learn more about PTSD, support those who are struggling, and help break the stigma surrounding mental health challenges.

💙 Men's Mental Health Month Men often face unique barriers when it comes to discussing mental health and seeking support. Too many suffer in silence due to fear, pride, or the misconception that asking for help is a sign of weakness. The truth is that reaching out for support is one of the strongest things a person can do.

At The Buddy System Inc., we believe that healing begins with connection. Through the powerful bond between veterans and service animals, we strive to provide companionship, purpose, and support for those facing life's challenges.
If you or someone you know is struggling, remember: 🐾 You are not alone. 🐾 Help is available. 🐾 Asking for support is a sign of strength.
