The Whitley County Country Quilters enjoyed their annual festive Christmas party. It was a party packed with hugs, laughter, good food, sharing, Christmas Bingo, presents, and well wishes for the new year. A blessed Christmas to all who attended and those who were unable to.

The Whitley County Country Quilters would like to say thank you to Jill Western and Jenny Draper for being our presidents this year. Also, a huge thank you to Linda Blain who has served in several positions and most importantly our club treasurer. We had an insightful presentation on mini blocks from Stacy Stump. Plus, many show and tells.

The Library Quilters had a grand time this week. In fact Jenny and Jill spent precious time sharing their love of quilting with their granddaughters.

The Whitley County Country Quilters meant Tuesday evening for a great meeting. Our very own member Dee Conn presented her tiny house blocks and quilts. She explained her passion for creating these tiny adorable houses and that there is a world wide group that share their finished blocks with others in the group. Sounds fun. The evening ended with a beautiful array of members works of art.

The Whitley County Country Quilters held their 3rd one day retreat titled “Pack a Snack Just in Case “. The attendees spent the day redesigning vintage train cases and creating Villa Rosa pattern, Snack Mats. Laura Hontz was an excellent instructor in the makeover of the train cases. While others created original snack mats.
