Our 3rd Annual Whitley County Pride Gayla was nothing short of incredible!
From the laughter and tears to the amazing performances, heartfelt conversations, and overwhelming love that filled the room, last night was a beautiful reminder of why we do what we do.
We are building something truly special right here in Whitley County, and none of it would be possible without the people who continue to believe in us, stand beside us, and remind us that our community deserves to be celebrated.

🌈 Ally Award – Amanda E.
Amanda reminds us that being an ally is more than words. It’s about showing up, standing beside others, and helping create a community where everyone knows they belong. Her kindness and commitment to supporting others make a difference.
❤️ Community Impact Award – Leah H.
Leah has gone above and beyond to make Whitley County Pride visible in our community. From her creativity and generosity to that unforgettable billboard (yes, THAT billboard!), she has shown us what it means to proudly stand behind something you believe in, even when it isn’t always easy.
💜 Heart of the Community Award – Jennifer K.
Jennifer opens her heart, her spaces, and her hands to our community without hesitation. She meets people where they are, leads with love, and stands up against negativity, even when it comes knocking at her own door. Her unwavering support means more than words can express.
🏳️🌈 2026 Advocate of the Year Award – Barbara
Barbara is a beautiful example of what it means to turn compassion into action. Through her advocacy, courage, and willingness to speak up for others, she reminds us that meaningful change happens when people choose to stand up for what is right, even when doing so isn’t easy.
And today makes this celebration even more meaningful.
On October 11, 2023, we officially launched Whitley County Pride. Three years ago today, we started with a vision of creating a community where everyone could feel seen, supported, celebrated, and loved.
Three years later, we’ve made incredible memories, built lasting friendships, overcome challenges, and watched this community grow into something truly beautiful.
To our partners, donors, volunteers, board members, vendors, and everyone who has supported us along the way, THANK YOU! We are beyond grateful for every person who has believed in us and helped make these past three years possible.
