Colts Neck Friends of the Library Summer Saturday hours (July & August) are 9-1pm. The Friends sponsor a semi-annual Book Sale, and other events at the library.

The Friends of the Colts Neck Library is a volunteer organization whose purpose is to aid and enhance the library's development and to sponsor social, cultural and educational programs for the benefit and enjoyment of Township residents. Executive Committee:

The Colts Neck Library, a branch of the Monmouth County Library System. Hours are:
Door side: Monday, and Wednesday from 9am to 1pm
Library open: Monday, Wednesday, Saturday from 9am to 5pm,
Tuesday and Thursday 1pm to 9pm and
Friday from 1pm to 5pm. The Community Garden, adjacent to the library building, is a special project of The Friends and the community. Please check back often for updates. You may purchase an engraved brick paver for the library walkways ($100 each). Checks can be made payable to the Colts Neck Library Foundation Inc. and mailed to: Friends of the Colts Neck Library, 2 Veterans Way, Colts Neck, NJ 07722. All community members interested in becoming active participants in The Friends of the Library are warmly welcomed. The Colts Neck Police Department’s National Night Out is August 4, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Bucks Mill Park. Enjoy free food, Kona Ice, drinks, inflatables, gaming truck, balloons, giveaways, and a chance to connect with local police, Fire, First Aid, DPW, local business owners and neighbors in a fun, family-friendly setting.

National Night Out is a community-building initiative to promote police partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie.

is open for a cooling station from 11am till 2pm Sunday, Jul 5th, and 10am to 2pm Mon, Jul 6 through Thu, Jul 9th for people who would like to charge their electronics and take a shower to cool off. You will need your own supplies for showers. Enter through the Bay doors.

Colts Neck Memorial Day Parade cancelled. Just received from Mayor Viola >> Canceling parade, going to be a swamp. We will hold a ceremony at Fire House #2 on Conover Rd at 11:15am followed by hot dogs. Please spread the word.
