Signal boost: Mcfadden Nature Center is hiring a Visitor Center Assistant!

VISITOR CENTER ASSISTANT – FULL-TIME
McFADDEN NATURE CENTER
McFadden Nature Center in Donalsonville, GA seeks a dependable, customer-focused Visitor Center Assistant. Duties include greeting visitors, gift shop sales, golf cart rentals, campground and RV reservation assistance, facility cleaning, grounds maintenance, landscaping, and event support. Position is onsite in Donalsonville, GA.
Qualified applicants should have strong customer service and communication skills, basic computer proficiency, reliable transportation, and the ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Experience with landscaping equipment and retail sales is preferred. Ability to lift 50 pounds.
Position is 40 hours per week and requires weekends and some holidays. Salary is based on experience.
Benefits include Paid Time Off, Sick Leave, Paid Holidays, Medical Insurance (50/50 employer contribution), and Accidental Death Insurance.

Who's ready for another Miller County Farmers Market? The Chamber will be on the Square tomorrow with fresh tomatoes, some sweet potatoes, some absolutely GORGEOUS live plants, and of course some Mayhaw Festival T-shirts, because some of you haven't gotten yours yet. 😉
