We're pleased to welcome Alyssa Lincoln as the Damsel and Stephenie Clarke as the Maid in Saturday's performance of "Lamb of God".
Alyssa has had a lifelong love of music. She grew up playing the violin, singing in choirs, and performing in musical theater while studying voice for many years.Alyssa went on to earn her degree in Music Education w/ choral emphasis from Northern Arizona University. She began her career as a high school choir director in Arizona. After relocating to Colorado and starting a family, she taught voice privately.
Locally, she has performed with and directed a variety of church & community choirs, including Colorado Springs Chorale. One of her most memorable experiences was performing as a backup singer for Sarah Brightman. Alyssa currently directs the Ascend Youth Choir and also enjoys teaching fitness classes, hiking, and traveling with her husband and four children.
Stephenie has been singing her whole life, studying voice privately in high school, at BYU, and in Seoul. She was never in choir until she joined the Central Texas Master Singers in Texas when her husband was deployed with the U.S. Army in Afghanistan. Since then, she has found a great choir wherever the Army has sent her family: Camarata Chorale and Chamber Choir in Seoul, Korea, Colorado Saints Chorale, and now Ascend. Steph is thrilled to be a part of The Lamb of God again. She spends most of her time with her family and at Sand Creek High School, teaching Spanish.
Don't miss them in this stunning performance THIS SATURDAY at 2PM and 6PM.
