Good hygiene isn’t just about having access to clean water and soap. Children and families also need to know why good hygiene matters and how simple practices like proper handwashing can help prevent illness.

That’s why hygiene education is an important part of creating healthier communities around the globe.

Your support can help provide children and families with access to sanitation resources and the knowledge they need to practice healthy hygiene habits.

This Global Handwashing Day, we ask you to prayerfully consider making a gift to the Sanitation & Hygiene Fund and help support healthier communities around the world.

Today is Global Handwashing Day!🧼🫧💦

For many of the children VisionTrust serves around the world, access to clean water and basic hygiene isn’t a given. Clean water, sanitation, soap, and knowledge about healthy hygiene practices all play an important role in protecting children from illness.

Handwashing with soap is one simple practice that can help prevent the spread of illness—but it’s only possible when children and families have the resources and education they need.

At VisionTrust, caring for the whole child includes caring for their physical health and well-being. That means supporting access to clean water, sanitation, and hygiene education in the communities we serve.

Today, we’re raising awareness about these basic needs and the important role they play in helping children and communities stay healthy.

Service makes an impact.💪💙

This summer, teams put their hands to work around the world. From a fresh coat of paint to a completed building project, every task was an opportunity to serve, encourage, and strengthen the communities we visited.

Every act of service matters. And when we serve together, the impact can reach far beyond the trip itself.

Today is International Day of the Girl!🩷💜

Today, we recognize the unique challenges girls around the world face and celebrate their strength, potential, and right to opportunities that help them thrive.

It’s a day to champion girls’ access to education, health, safety, and the support they need to pursue their dreams and shape their futures.

At VisionTrust, we’re grateful to be part of that work—coming alongside children and local leaders in communities around the world to help girls grow, learn, and discover their God-given worth.

This month, we invite you to pray for the VisionTrust country leaders and the teams serving alongside them around the world. 🙏 💙 🌏

Each leader is navigating unique challenges while caring for children, families, and communities. Some are beginning a new school year, while others are facing rising costs, civil unrest, flooding, and other circumstances that require wisdom, perseverance, and trust in God.

In Brazil, we’re celebrating the return of a former VisionTrust student from the late 1990s. Deborah has come back to serve as a teacher intern and active volunteer, creating a beautiful full-circle moment as she now invests in the next generation of students. Stories like hers remind us that education can have an impact that continues long after a student leaves our programs.

We’re in Liberia!🇱🇷💙

Our team has arrived and we’re grateful to be serving alongside the VisionTrust Liberia team.

With professionals in Health, WASH, Education, Spiritual Development, and Team Training, this trip is about coming alongside the leaders who serve their communities all year long.

We’re especially excited to spend time with Stephen, our newest Country Leader in Liberia, and his team, while also learning more about at-risk youth and how we can better support their needs.

Please join us in praying for our team, the leaders in Liberia, and the children and communities they serve. We’re excited to see what God does through this time together!

Different countries. Different cultures. Different languages. And yet, connection has a way of crossing every boundary.🌎🤝

This summer, teams from the U.S. had the opportunity to spend time with children, families, and local leaders around the world—sharing meals, playing, learning, laughing, and building relationships.

These moments remind us that missions isn’t just about where we go or what we do. It’s about people, relationships, and showing up for one another.

We’re grateful for every connection made this summer and for the people who welcomed our teams with open arms.
