We break financial barriers to ensure every child—especially from underserved communities—can benefit from organized sports. Pikes Peak Panthers Football & Cheer is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit youth organization dedicated to providing affordable and accessible youth sports opportunities in Colorado Springs. Our mission is to break down financial barriers and ensure every child—especially those from unde

rserved or at-risk families—has access to the physical, mental, and social benefits of organized sports. We welcome athletes ages 6–13 from all backgrounds, with a focus on serving communities that often lack access to structured athletic programs.

🏈 WEEK 1 IN THE BOOKS

Week 1 gave our student-athletes a little bit of everything.

9U faced a tough Park Hill Pirates team and came away with plenty to learn and build on.

10U battled Colorado Springs Elite through TRIPLE OVERTIME, falling 0-6 in a fight from start to finish. 💪🏾

11U started the season with a 7-0 shutout win! 🔥

12U was leading Montbello when lightning forced the game to be postponed. They’ll finish that one another day.

Wins, losses, adversity and lessons. That’s football. Proud of the way our student-athletes competed.

WEEK 1. HERE WE GO!

After weeks of practices, conditioning, learning, competing and getting better together, our student-athletes finally get to take the field for Week 1!

We’ve got four Panthers teams in action this Saturday:

🐾 9U vs. Park Hill Pirates — 10:30 AM | Mitchell HS
🐾 10U vs. Colorado Springs Elite — 12:30 PM | Mitchell HS
🐾 11U vs. Colorado Springs Elite — 2:00 PM | Mitchell HS
🐾 12U vs. Montbello Falcons — 1:00 PM | Pinnacle Athletic Complex

Our 9U, 10U and 11U are at home, so Panther Family, come pack Mitchell and make some noise for our student-athletes!

And send some Panther love with our 12U as they hit the road for their first game of the season!

🏈 Great Competition. Even Better Relationships. 🏈

We want to give a big thank you to the Riverdale Ravens 10U for making the trip down to Mitchell High School to scrimmage with us.

One of our goals at Pikes Peak Panthers is to build relationships with other organizations that share the same passion for developing young athletes. Today was a great example of that. Both teams got some valuable work in, competed the right way, and helped each other get better as we prepare for the season.

After the scrimmage, both teams came together, ate some pizza, and enjoyed spending time together before heading home. That's what youth sports are all about—building friendships, respect, and community.

Thank you again to the Riverdale Ravens coaches, players, and families for spending your Saturday with us. We wish you a healthy, successful season and look forward to seeing you all again.

Today, we celebrate the freedoms that unite us and the incredible families who make the Panther community so special.

Another awesome preseason practice in the books!

Sunday was packed with learning, competition, and fun at Mitchell High School!

Our Cheer, 7U, 9U, 10U, 11U, and 12U teams put in another day of hard work as our coaches continued building skills, confidence, and teamwork. We also got athletes sized for jerseys and took another step closer to kickoff!

The day ended with an exciting Like Father, Like Son Flag Football Game featuring our 11U & 12U teams—a great way to bring our Panther families together. Then we wrapped up practice the best way possible... with 🍕 pizza for everyone!

This is what the Pikes Peak Panthers are all about—developing student-athletes, building friendships, and creating a family that supports one another on and off the field.
