Huge thank you to World of Hearts LLC for featuring the Gold Star Valor Foundation during their upcoming Community Night. We truly appreciate businesses that step up to support veterans and their families and help bring the community together.

They are hosting Archery Dodgeball and it is something different, fun, and perfect for the whole family. Friends, kids, and anyone looking for a good time are welcome to come out and play.

🇺🇸 Supporting Our Gold Star Families 🇺🇸

Right now we have 2 families looking for security systems. So we’re looking to raise $3,000 to help two Gold Star families receive professionally installed home security systems. This amount will fully cover the equipment and technician installation, ensuring these families have added peace of mind and protection in their homes.

If you feel called to donate, or if you are a business that would like to contribute, it would mean more than we can put into words. Any company that helps support this effort will be recognized and highlighted as a thank-you for standing behind our Gold Star families.

WOW!!! I’m beyond honored and fired up for this partnership with World of Hearts LLC!!! Thank you so much for believing in me , Gold Star Valor Foundation, and the mission behind it. Also thank you Leah Ward for the amazing connection!!! Being able to bring this to the Sherwood Showdown community is HUGE.

This is about honoring our Gold Star families, lifting them up, and making sure their sacrifice is never forgotten and you all are helping make that happen in a massive way. I can’t wait to share our story on Community Night in March and connect with everyone there.

As we step into a new year, we want to take a moment to reflect on our first full year as a foundation and what an incredible journey it has been.

2025 was filled with purpose, impact, and heart. From supporting Gold Star families to standing alongside veterans and their loved ones, none of this would have been possible without the overwhelming support from our community. Every donation, every share, every conversation, and every person who believed in this mission helped us move forward and grow stronger.

We want to give a huge thank you to the Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association Chapter 3-2 for their incredibly generous $1,300 donation to Gold Star Valor Foundation. CVMA 3-2 Public Page is an organization that truly lives its mission. They work tirelessly to support veterans, give back to veteran focused organizations, and ensure that help gets directly back into the hands of those who served. They consistently accept donations so they can continue paying it forward to veterans and organizations that support the veteran community, and we are honored to be among those they chose to support.

To everyone who stood with us in 2025, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. This year proved that when a community comes together with the right intentions, real change happens.

2025 was amazing, but here’s to 2026 and everything the future holds. We cannot wait to see what we accomplish together next.

Today we hold space for love, remembrance, and gratitude. Christmas can be especially hard for Gold Star families, and we want you to know you are never forgotten. Your loved ones’ sacrifice is honored not just today, but every day.

We are grateful for the families, supporters, and community members who stand with us and help us continue our mission of honoring the fallen and supporting those they left behind. From our hearts to yours, we wish you peace, comfort, and moments of warmth this Christmas.

A huge thank you to Wackadoo Brewing for helping me raise money for my nonprofit Gold Star Valor Foundation . The authentic italian dinner was amazing and your support truly means the world. Also congratulations on your 3 year anniversary being open!!!!!

Thank you to the CVMA 3-2 Public Page for showing up in force and to every guest who came out, donated, and showed love… thank you. I’m genuinely humbled by the hearts within our military community and to know the brotherhood and sisterhood never left when I got out, and that means everything.

Now I know I might get some slack for this, but I’m speaking from the heart. In the short time I’ve been involved in the nonprofit world, I’ve seen how easy it is for the focus to shift. Nonprofits, especially those supporting veterans, should never be about my money, my donors, or what’s in it for me. But yet collaborations to help those families in all ways!

We should all be united under the same mission, helping our veterans and their families in every way we can. Big or small, we all have something to give and a way to make a difference.

Sometimes it feels like the passion gets lost and it becomes more about money than the cause itself. That’s just my two cents 🤷🏽‍♂️

To everyone who continues to support Gold Star Valor Foundation and every other organization that truly stands behind our military families, thank you from the bottom of my heart. 🇺🇸❤️l

Last night we had the honor of visiting the Gold Star Families Memorial Monument in Sturgis. Standing there in front of that black granite, with the names and stories it represents, was a moment that made us pause and reflect on the true cost of freedom.

It’s more than a monument , it’s a place where silence speaks louder than words, where sacrifice is carved into stone, and where the love of a family who has given everything is forever remembered.

Being there reminded us why we do what we do, why we honor, why we serve, and why we never forget. To all the Gold Star Families, your loved ones’ legacies live on in the hearts of every person who stands in front of that memorial. We carry their memory with us, and we are forever grateful.

Shout out to the Sturgis Police Department for carrying the Mission 22 logo with them and honoring all our branches in such a visible way. It means more than words can capture, it’s a statement that us as veterans, our families, and our fallen are never forgotten.

Today we are honored to share something incredibly special. We had the privilege of creating a custom Gold Star Valor Foundation jersey for Leah Ward, in memory of her husband, CPL Julian Kito Ward — E4, 1-24 INF Regiment, Fort Wainwright, Alaska.

Julian was Smart, funny, charming, strong, and loving. The Army was the biggest part of who he was. After three tours, the toll it took on him physically and mentally was heavy. He was a Team Leader, a confidant, and Leah’s high school sweetheart. 💕 His life and service will never be forgotten!

At the Gold Star Valor Foundation, our mission is to honor the legacy of fallen heroes by supporting Gold Star, White Star, Silver Star, and Blue Star families. We provide free security systems through and installations through Delta Security INC to these families to help protect their homes, while also reminding them that their hero’s sacrifice will always be remembered.

Leah, thank you for trusting us to be a part of honoring Julian’s memory. His legacy lives on through the love you share and the impact he had on those around him. 🇺🇸❤️

I boxed with Quadi Hudgins on the ALL ARMY BOXING team and got to know him like a brother. He had big dreams and an even bigger personality. If you met him, you know his smile was contagious and no matter your mood, you couldn’t help but light up when he came around.

Though he and his family might not be from our local community, they are part of our military Gold Star family—and that makes them ours.

I’m sharing this on behalf of his wife, who’s hoping to surprise their daughter as she prepares to get her driver’s license. They still have Quadi’s first car, and she would love to refurbish it and gift it to their daughter at the start of the next school year.
