A jacket may seem like a small thing. But to a vulnerable child facing a cold winter, it means so much more.

As temperatures begin to drop, we want to take a moment to say thank you!

Because of your generosity, orphaned and vulnerable children in Nepal are receiving warm winter jackets.

What a beautiful reminder that God's love is often shown through simple acts of kindness!

When you're struggling to survive, even the most basic necessities can feel out of reach.

A meal shouldn't have to come at the expense of an education. A safe home shouldn't mean going without medical care.

We believe lasting change happens when we care for the whole person.

That's why World Challenge partners with local believers to address five essential needs, helping vulnerable children and families not just survive, but build a future filled with hope.

Because the goal isn't simply to meet today's needs. It's to help people experience the love of Christ and find lasting hope for tomorrow.

When we visited our partners recently, we were so touched to see this young girl lead the other children in prayer. The moment was sacred.

Praise God that because of our generous community, christ-centered care is changing the lives of children in desperate situations.

Look at Mukandori’s home now! ❤️🏠

After devastating floods left her home badly damaged and without even a secure door, your generosity helped restore it into a safe place she can call home again.

Mukandori survived the Rwandan genocide, where she lost her husband and seven of her eight children. After enduring unimaginable loss, she has continued forward with incredible resilience.

Today, we get to celebrate something good with her: a restored home, a secure place to live and a reminder that she is not forgotten.

For 11-year-old Dipsika, going to school used to come with embarrassment.

After being abandoned by both of her parents, she was raised by her grandparents in extreme poverty. Worn-out school supplies made it even harder to keep up, and other children sometimes teased her because of what she lacked.

But through the care of local World Challenge partners, Dipsika recently received brand-new school supplies.

Now she can walk into school confidently, with the tools she needs to learn and keep moving toward a brighter future.

“My friends used to tease me because of my condition, but now I can go to school happily and confidently with the things I need for my studies.”

This is what your generosity makes possible: meeting a practical need while reminding a child that she is seen, loved and worth investing in. ❤️

After losing both of her parents to alcohol addiction, Vandana was left without the care and stability every child needs.

Then she began visiting her aunt’s church.

There, she found people who welcomed her and cared for her!

Today, that church community is helping meet practical needs, supporting her education, and encouraging her as she grows in her faith.

Vandana told us, “I'm thankful for this life because I chose to know God and he saved me. I'm very grateful to everyone who is supporting and caring for me.””

Sometimes caring for an orphan looks like food, school supplies, or financial support.

And sometimes it looks like becoming the family a child desperately needs.

🙌 We’re grateful for every church and every person helping make that possible.

This is what it looks like to practice Pure Religion!

Bharat has already experienced more loss than any child should have to carry. After losing his parents, his elderly grandmother did everything she could to care for him in their remote village in Pakistan.

But his story is changing.

We’re so grateful for every person who has prayed, given, and helped make this possible.

You’re not just helping build a home. You’re helping give children like Bharat a safe place to grow up, a future to look forward to, and the chance to know they are deeply loved!
