Native Nonprofit Day is a giving initiative aimed at increasing support for Native-led organizations nationwide that occurs on the third Thursday, every May. Organizations, foundations, and individuals are invited to dedicate May to raising awareness of the importance of supporting Native-led nonprofits, culminating in Native Nonprofit Day!

Attended the monthly Case Conferencing event today where all these service providers from across the city, come together to help problem solve for people they are working to uplift. Today we also learned about Project Diakonia and Fathers First Inc. and all the great work they are doing. Checkout their pages and give em a follow.

We all have that one cuzzin that we know will put off their community service hours until the very last minute. Maybe you are that one cousin? Either way, you can do your court ordered hours with us while also giving back to the local Native community.

Today our Program Director was on a MMIR Panel for Casey Family Programs with Alanna Wright from the To’Kee Skuy’ Soo’ Ney-Wo-Chek’, I will see you again in a good way. and Raven Payment from the Missing & Murdered Indigenous Relatives Task Force of Colorado.
Mostly just telling you because we wanted an excuse to share this photo of Alanna since we promise she is cooler than all of us combined.
