Behind every happy adoption photo is the care that got them there. 🩺
Many of our dogs arrive needing more than a warm bed. Some need treatment, follow-up visits, and time to heal before they're ready for their forever homes. We never want cost to be the reason a dog goes without the care they deserve.
That's where you come in. Your gift to our vet bill fundraiser helps keep our dogs healthy, safe, and on the road to forever.
Every dollar, big or small, helps write a healthier next chapter.

Thank you for being part of their healing, together. ❤️

Picture your evening with Devi. 🌙
You walk in the door, and she's already waiting with her favorite toy. Game on. A spirited round of tug-of-war, a little zoomie energy, maybe a romp with your dog pal.
Then the play winds down. Devi climbs up next to you, settles in close, and lets out a happy sigh. Just like that, the girl who was once scared of the world is curled up in the safest place she's ever known.
That's what patience, love, and stability can give her. A calm, kid-free home with room to play, learn, and grow.
Could you be her forever family? She's ready when you are. 👉 https://karlscaninekrew.org/devi672

Rescue doesn't happen without people who show up. 🤝
Every dog who finds a forever home got there because someone gave a little time. A driver who made the trip. A friendly face at an adoption event. A helping hand behind the scenes.
At KCK, volunteering comes in many forms:
🚗 Transporting dogs to safe places
🎪 Lending a hand at events
💛 Helping in other ways that fit your skills and schedule
You don't need a lot of time to change a dog's life. You just need to say yes.

Together, we rewrite their futures. ❤️

She came to us scared of the world. Now she's ready for a brand-new one. 🐾
Meet Devi, a young husky mix with personality to spare. Give her a toy and a good game of tug-of-war, and she's in her happy place. When playtime winds down, she curls up with her people and soaks up every cuddle she can get.
🐶 Great with other dogs
🐶 Crate trained and still learning
⚡ Big energy, even bigger heart
Devi was malnourished and frightened when she was surrendered. Today she's growing braver, and she's ready for a family with patience, love, and stability to give.

Picture an easy evening with Pickle. 🌙
No stairs to climb. Just one cozy level, a comfy couch, and a happy pitbull mix strutting toward you with that famous swagger. His tail is going crazy before he even reaches you.
Your dog pal trots over to join the fun. The older kids laugh at his wiggles, just like his foster mom does every day. Maybe it's a warm night and someone says the magic words: pool party. 💦
Then, when the antics finally settle, he climbs up beside you and does what he does best. He becomes your couch pickle.
That's the life he's been searching for. A family who sees his swagger as part of what makes him perfect.
He's ready when you are 👉 https://karlscaninekrew.org/pickle236

Tasty Treat Thursday: Pumpkin Peanut Butter Bites
Fall smells like pumpkin, and your pup deserves a taste of it. 🎃
You'll need:
2½ cups whole wheat flour
2 eggs
½ cup plain canned pumpkin
2 tbsp peanut butter (xylitol-free)
A splash of water, as needed
How to make them:
Heat oven to 350°F.
Mix everything, adding water slowly until the dough holds together.
Roll to ¼ inch thick and cut into shapes.
Bake 20–25 minutes until firm. Cool completely.
🐾 Use plain pumpkin, not pie filling, and always check peanut butter labels for xylitol.
Bake a batch tonight and show us your taste tester - as you can see Pickle is excited to try his! 👇
