UCCS Alumni and Friends Association Stay in the know! The UCCS Alumni & Friends Association is the central link between the University and your Mountain Lion family!

In support of its mission, the Alumni Advisory Board and the Office of Alumni Relations work together to:

- Create, promote, and preserve traditions of the University
- Communicate the accomplishments of the University to alumni
- Encourage alumni and friends of the University to use their time, talents and energy for the advancement of UCCS
- Promote financial support of the University
- De

velop and promote alumni/student relations
- Provide opportunities for alumni to network with each other
- Sustain communication between alumni and the University

On August 22, 1996 Summit Village opened. Each house is named after a Colorado ski resort: Keystone, Breckenridge, Aspen and Monarch. ⛷️⛰️ UCCS Residence Life and Housing is celebrating its 30th anniversary of campus housing this year!

Following the electric, sold-out success of last season’s ”Cabaret,” Theatreworks returns to the heights of musical storytelling with Stephen Sondheim’s macabre masterpiece, “Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street.” With performances beginning September 10, 2026, this production reunites the spirit of bold, immersive theatre with a “stripped down to the bleeding edge” reimagining that explores the razor-thin line between tragic hero and haunting villain. Set against the squalid, soot-stained backdrop of Victorian London—where corruption is a currency and injustice rots in the streets.
