Kita is a grade mare that is between 20-22 years old and stands 15.3hh. We were told in her past life she was a pickup horse and then used for rodeo royalty. She does neck rein and move off leg but is a bit rusty with leg cues. Kita would do best with a confident adopter as she went many years without work and occasionally has some opinions about working again. We did inject her hocks and she has front shoes on. She also gets some senior grain to maintain her weight. She is UTD on vaccines, dewormer, farrier, chiropractic and float. She can still WTL but she has no left lead, I’m not sure if this is something mechanical or if she just never learned it 😂. Here she is middle of the herd but is currently stalled so she can be easily grained.

Indy is a 4 year old mare that I’d guess stands around 14.2/14.3hh, haven’t had a chance to stick her. She is halter broke but still can be flighty. We got her and her filly from auction July 1 and she was skinny, extremely cautious and totally unhandled. She is super smart but definitely still nervous and standoffish. She will need an EXPERIENCED home or someone who will send her to training. She is not broke and still learning on mastering basic handling without being tense.
I have no doubt she will come around with time.
She is available for adoption, but also available for our Trainer Release Program

So Noodle doesn’t have the best news, but we did some shockwave therapy today and he will be on some muscle relaxers and get some chiropractic work and pt type work with Megan on just relaxing and flexing to see if any of this helps. If he starts to show some improvement, then we will most likely do more shockwave and then possibly try injections.

Drs notes:
Flipped over in wash rack a couple months ago. Stiff in neck, noses right. Rad of poll is unremarkable. C4-5 on the L is
markedly enlarged with dorsal remodeling. R C4-5 is also reactive. C5-6 and 6-7 also have mild to moderate enlargement
and remodeling. The horse is sound baseline. He is guarded in lateral flexions with the L worse. There is no neurologic
abnormalities. Start with shockwave today and evaluate response. Discussed prognosis and injections. Chiropractic
adjustments may help. Muscle relaxers and physical therapy will also be beneficial.

Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers. This gelding is THE SWEETEST guy and so mellow and just has so much try to him. 💖

Our sweet gelding Noodle needs your help and prayers today. I’m taking him up to Vizion Equine Sports Medicine and Surgery in Gill CO for neck X-rays and evaluation as we were told he flipped over in a concrete wash bay ( before coming to us ) and landed on his neck. He has a slight head tilt, is sore on his poll and doesn’t act quite right. 🥺🥺
If anyone feels so inclined, we could definitely use some help for his vet bill today. I’ve posted the ways to donate below and thank you in advance 💖
