Recent weeks have been exceptionally demanding at the rescue, as we've welcomed a number of new arrivals, each bringing their own unique needs and challenges, it also presents significant financial responsibilities that stretch our resources. We've recently incurred substantial expenses to ensure the immediate well-being and ongoing care of these deserving animals, especially our more vulnerable residents. This includes multiple pallets of cubes for the seniors, crucial for their recovery and sustained health. Furthermore, we've faced a considerable surge in veterinary costs, mostly for dental procedures and critical ongoing chiropractic treatments. We are incredibly grateful for the expert care provided by Dr Knobbs, whose dedication to our horses' well-being is invaluable.
These services are fundamental to ensuring our horses can recover, thrive, and experience a life free from pain and discomfort. As we continue to take in those in dire need, we find ourselves reaching out for your continued generosity to help us manage these mounting, yet essential, costs.
