Kinect Dance Collective is a dance company in Colorado Springs that is truly one of kind. Kinect Dance Collective was created by a group of five young ladies who simply just wanted to dance. The founding members saw a lack of training and performance opportunities for young adults. Most companies/studios are focused on high school and below, with rarely any opportunities for adults to perform and

share their talents. Kinect Dance Collective gives adults the opportunity to keep their passion of dance alive, while striving to entertain our community with the most unique and exciting show experiences.

⭐️MEET KDC⭐️ JAE DUNYON fell in love with dancing at the age of three, and since has trained, performed, and competed across multiple styles of dance. She was also heavily involved in her high school’s top dance team and musical theatre productions, earning awards for choreography and more. This will be Jae’s third show with KDC, and she is so excited to continue dancing and performing with such an incredible cast!

Fun fact: Her record for number of books read in a year is 113!!

⭐️MEET KDC⭐️ KAELA REED graduated from Colorado State University in Spring 2023, then moved back home to Colorado Springs & joined KDC, making her debut with them in “Hidden Gems.” She has also been featured in the Millibo Art Theatre’s “Circus of the Night” & “Yule be Naughty, Please!” as a member of KDC. She is excited for her 4th show with KDC & hopefully more in the future!

Fun Facts: She loves traveling and going to concerts (and especially the corn dogs at red rocks!)

⭐️MEET KDC⭐️ EMILY BEHLING began her dance journey in 8th grade on her school dance team and continued dancing throughout high school and into college. She competed in jazz and pom at several competitions, including NDA Nationals. She currently coaches a competitive pom team, teaches technique, contemporary, and jazz funk at Anthem Live Studios, and is a member of 86x68 Dance Crew in Denver. Emily is excited to be performing in her second show with KDC!

Fun fact: She has walked in 3 fashion shows this year!

⭐️MEET KDC⭐️ PAIGE MURPHY has been dancing since the age of seven and has always been eager to learn, move, and perform. She recently earned her Associate of Arts degree in dance from Pikes Peak State College and will be transferring to Colorado State University in Fort Collins to pursue a Bachelor of Fine Arts in dance. Paige has been teaching at Springs Dance since 2021 and has worked with children age three and up, teens, and adult classes. She has experience choreographing for student recitals, Nutcracker productions, and competition team. She has also had the opportunity to perform with Kinect Dance Collective in several shows at the Millibo Art Theatre since 2024.

Fun Fact: Her favorite movie is Pitch Perfect.

⭐️MEET KDC⭐️ ALLIE PETROVICH is a performer, choreographer, instructor, and theatre technician with a passion for the arts. She graduated from Southwestern College in Winfield, KS in 2017 with Bachelor of Arts degrees in theatre performance, musical theatre, and psychology. From performing in college productions and ensembles, to working as an entertainment technician at Walt Disney World, she has always found her way back to the stage. Masterplan is her 7th show with KDC. She has also been featured in several of the MAT’s Circus shows, Christmas shows, and Women’s Theatre Festivals!

Fun facts: She watches her favorite animated movie, Shark Tale, at least once a month, and she can drive a forklift, a scissor lift, and a boom lift.

⭐️MEET KDC⭐️ ANASTASIA KEATING has danced for 25+ years & been with KDC for 5 years! She is a dance performer, choreographer, instructor, & filmmaker with a heart for sharing stories through dance. She has a BA in Dance Pedagogy & BS in Business Management, both Summa Cum Laude, from Palm Beach Atlantic University & was the Outstanding Graduate of Dance. She also has an AA from Pikes Peak State College. She’s thankful for KDC & excited to share the stage with her friends!

Fun Facts: She loves hiking & she’s growing a small jungle of plants in her apartment 🫢

⭐️MEET KDC⭐️ SHAYLA MELLEN has been dancing since the age of 2. This is her 5th show performing with KDC! She has her Bachelor’s in Dance & Theater & her Associates in Dance Performance. She teaches Dance at Vista Ridge High School and choreographs for Show Choir and Wolfpack Theater. She also teaches at The Academy of Children’s Theatre where she directs and choreographs the Academy Players productions. She has received multiple best choreography awards and has been nominated for a Bobby G Award two years in a row. She wants to thank her mom for always being her biggest supporter.

Fun facts: She has a pretty big rubber duck collection and has a pet chinchilla!

⭐️MEET KDC⭐️ LYNNEA STANDLEY has been dancing for 20 years with training in multiple styles of dance. Throughout high school, she transitioned from studio dance to the Poms team at her school. After she graduated high school, she then coached a Poms team for 4 years. She is excited for her 7th show with Kinect Dance Collective! She has also been in multiple shows with the Millibo.

⭐️MEET KDC⭐️ JENN DICKINSON has over 30 years of dance experience training in Ballet, Pointe, Jazz, Contemporary, Modern, Tap, Hip Hop, Musical Theatre and more. She graduated Magna Cum Laude with her BFA from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music. Jenn worked for Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines for 4.5 years dancing in their stage productions and traveling to over 23 different countries. Throughout her career, Jenn has taught and choreographed at various dance studios for 10+ years. She is a military spouse and moved to Colorado Springs with her husband in 2024. This will be her second show with KDC!

Fun fact: “I’m currently the oldest performing member of KDC- and yes my back hurts 🤣”
