Today, Miss Colorado Princess, Sparrow Kilgore and The Sparrow Foundation are celebrating something far bigger than an organization. We are celebrating the incredible people who have chosen to believe in a mission born from love, loss, compassion, and the hope of making another family's hardest moments feel just a little less lonely.
To every volunteer who has given their time, every donor who has helped place a memorial bear into grieving arms, every business and community partner who has opened a door, and every friend who has shared our mission, prayed for our families, or simply cheered us on, ๐ฉ๐๐๐๐ ๐ฎ๐๐ช! ๐
The Sparrow Foundation exists to ensure that no bereaved family returns home with empty hands or aching arms. Every bear we give carries more than comfort. It carries the reminder that a precious life mattered, that a family's grief is seen, and that they do not have to walk through it alone.
National Nonprofit Day belongs to all of you who help turn compassion into action. We may never be able to fully express what your support means, but we hope you know that every gift, every hour, every prayer, and every act of kindness becomes part of someone else's story of comfort.
