Some questions just shouldn’t be asked… but they still are.

Adoptive families hear things like this more often than you’d think. Most of the time it’s not meant to hurt, but it can. Adoption is built on real love, real commitment, and real family. It’s not something that needs to be questioned or explained away.

If you’re not sure what to say, a simple “That’s amazing” or “Tell me more” goes a long way.

And if you’re an adoptive family reading this, you’re doing something incredibly meaningful. Don’t let awkward questions take that away from you.
