DID YOU RECEIVE A NASTY TEXT? -
I looked up the PAC responsible for the extremely negative campaigning that has taken place against Mrs. Robin Lindsey including the text that was sent throughout the township a few hours ago. As many of you know, Mrs. Lindsey is running for Lower Paxton Twp. Supervisor. Here is the information for the Chair and the Treasurer, those responsible for running the PAC that paid for the "ads". I couldn't print/paste both pages but the front page indicates the PAC is named - Responsible Government for central PA, and the filing indicates that the PAC represents "all" candidates, presumably meaning all GOP candidates. The PAC was established in Dauphin County September 25, 2025. You can find this information on the Dauphin County Elections Bureau page. My understanding - from an upset voter that reached out to me - is that one of these individuals works for the county and is also the Treasurer of the Dauphin County Republican Party. I cannot confirm or deny that information but can say that it is a sad commentary.

🌟 Last Post before Election Day Tuesday, November 4th

Time for a Change in Lower Paxton 🌟

For 260 years, Lower Paxton has been controlled by the same party - and the cracks are finally showing. In just the past 11 months, four Supervisors, the Township Manager, Assistant Manager, Public Works Director, and Solicitor have all resigned. That’s not coincidence - that’s collapse. - and from what I can see, that calamity will only continue with any one of, let alone all 4 of the interim GOP appointees remaining on the BOS.

This Tuesday, we can bring a new vision:
Charles Stuart – First Responder advocate
Robin Lindsey – Community consistency
John Campbell – Finance and tax accountability
Kate Scheib – Making sure government is run right - in the people’s best interest and in full public view.

Lower Paxton deserves leadership that serves everyone - not just the select few. Lower Paxton Township deserves us as its Board of Supervisors. Voters are smart, and I believe they know it’s time for change and the opportunity for change may never come again like we are seeing this election cycle. So let's take advantage of it and bring in new leadership. A fresh start. An exciting outlook on what can be, the future is ours, if we all vote for it!

It’s been an honor to run, to meet incredible residents and volunteers, and to see what true community looks like. Now it’s time to reap the rewards of that hard work - with your vote on Tuesday.

Vote November 4th — for a brighter, more transparent Lower Paxton. 💪🇺🇸 Let's make that happen. I'm excited to begin this journey with you.

A PERSONAL PEEK BENEATH THE POLITICAL - For those wondering about raising a blended family with my husband Eric of 30 years, with 6 children, 13 grands and now 5 great-grands, here is what the almost 100% attendance Scheib Tribe looked like in 2022 at the Scheib annual pumpkin-fest. Our family represents an entire spectrum of society in all ages, shapes, genders, mindsets and skin tones; from Railroad engineer to recovering addict, soon to be doctor and manufacturing CEO to environmental community planner; trainmaster; military veterans; police officer (s); broken heart mender, politician; nurse, firefighter; cancer patient ; banker, store manager, and lots more. Then there are plenty of little ones who have only their undiscovered futures ahead of them, futures that cannot even be imagined. . And let's not forget the pups, plenty of pups too. All good reason to work hard to make the world a better place. Happy Halloween everyone!
