For ten years, riders from across Virginia and beyond have gathered with one purpose—to honor the lives lost on September 11, 2001, and remember the courage shown by so many that day.

On Sunday, September 13, we’ll once again gather at Prince George Fire Department Company 1 before setting out on an 80+ mile memorial ride through beautiful Virginia roads.

Whether you’re a firefighter, law enforcement officer, EMS provider, veteran, motorcyclist, or simply someone who believes in honoring those who sacrificed so much, we invite you to ride alongside us.

Let’s make this 10th Annual Ride our most meaningful yet.

Six weeks from today, motorcycles will roll out from Prince George Fire Department Company 1 for a ride that means so much more than the miles ahead.

The 10th Annual Red Knights Virginia 8 9/11 Memorial Ride is an opportunity to come together in remembrance of the lives lost on September 11, 2001, while honoring the courage and sacrifice of the firefighters, law enforcement officers, EMS personnel, military members, and civilians whose actions forever changed our nation.

Whether you’ve ridden with us for years or are considering joining us for the first time, we invite you to be part of this meaningful tradition.

It was our honor and privilege to support our Brothers and Sisters in Blue as they work toward raising funds for their Motor Unit. Strong communities are built through partnerships, and we are proud to stand alongside those who serve and protect every day.

🖤 CHARLESTON 9 – NEVER FORGET 🖤

Today marks 19 years since nine firefighters from the Charleston Fire Department made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty.

On June 18, 2007, these brothers answered the call, placing service above self and courage above fear. They never returned home.

Today, we pause to remember:

Their sacrifice forever changed the fire service and serves as a reminder of the risks firefighters face every time they answer the alarm.

As members of Red Knights Virginia 8, we stand with our brothers and sisters in Charleston and across the fire service in honoring these nine heroes. Their names, their service, and their sacrifice will never be forgotten.

Thursday we remember

🔥 NEVER FORGET THE CHARLESTON 9 🔥

On June 18, 2007, nine Charleston firefighters made the ultimate sacrifice while answering the call to serve their community. Nineteen years later, we continue to honor their courage, dedication, and legacy.

On Thursday, June 18, 2026, the Charleston Fire Department will hold its 19-Year Remembrance Ceremony at the Charleston 9 Memorial Park in Charleston, South Carolina. The ceremony begins at 7:00 PM and serves as a time for firefighters, families, friends, and supporters to come together in remembrance of the Charleston 9.

Throughout the day, Charleston Fire Department personnel will maintain a 24-hour Standing Watch at the memorial, honoring the lives and service of these fallen heroes.

As firefighters and members of the Red Knights family, we understand that the bonds forged in the fire service extend far beyond station walls. We remember not only how these nine heroes died, but more importantly how they lived—serving others with courage, honor, and selflessness.
