From Eleanor Park, a living enity and the “Jewel of Colonial Beach.” Friends of Eleanor Park, a local 501(c)3 charity, values your contributions to her conservation. The first three Memorial Benches have been installed, with additional benches scheduled for installation over the coming weeks. It has been a long journey, but we are finally seeing the results of our dedication to the history of our town and the preservation of one of our original 3 parks dedicated in 1882 by Henry J. Kintz.
