The emblem on the front of our post was taken down last week. It was cleaned and repainted last week by Aux member Gail Garo and placed back on the front of the building.

The Colonia VFW and it's Auxiliary will participate and will by handing out small flags to school children and larger flags to older children and adults.

Auxiliary Member Paul Lullo passed away Wednesday, July 22. Our thoughts are with his family.

Happy Independence Day - Our Olive drab and rusting shed behind the post has been painted Patriotic colors by our own Teddy Markou, Auxiliary Member.
The paint was donated by Riccardi Brothers in Edison.

The post thanks all who volunteered their time to place approximately 3000 flags at the graves of all Veterans and First Responders at St. Gertrude's Cemetery on Saturday, May 16.
