www.straycatblues.org Mission Statement: Stray Cat Blues, Inc. is a no-kill, non-profit 501(c)(3) organization. We rescue stray and abandoned cats and kittens located primarily in Montgomery and Bucks and other suburban Philadelphia counties, and find them safe and appropriate homes. Personally, SCB is a small group of dedicated volunteers who work tirelessly to find loving, life-long homes for ab

andoned cats. We are professional in our practices, but we are emotional on the subject of homeless cats, and the ways in which we humans can work to prevent this epidemic of strays. Stray Cat Blues actively works to recruit permanent homes for the stray cats in our program. All the animals are screened for feline leukemia, inoculated, sterilized and wormed when they first come to us. Healthy, adoptable cats are then housed through our network of foster homes. Our kittens and cats are exposed to the pet-loving public at our 4 different adoption cage locations to facilitate adoptions and to provide visibility for the organization. In addition to placement of sociable cats and kittens, a major focus of Stray Cat Blues is to place feral and unsociable cats in qualified barn homes. Like our house cats, our barn cats are delivered to their new homes by a Stray Cat Blues volunteer. We provide our barn cats with a cozy "cat condominium" to live in for the first few weeks of life in their new location. The crate allows the cats to acclimate to their new home without the danger of having them run away in search of their old stomping grounds. We are willing to go to great lengths for our cats - quite literally! We will gladly travel to approved barn homes within an approximate 100 mile radius of the Lansdale and Montgomeryville area to deliver our helpful mousers. Most of our cats are strays and their offspring that are rescued from area locations. Many of these strays are more than willing to be helped by our volunteers. But for those animals that are more wary of humans, especially the feral cats, we utilize humane traps. Many of our kittens are born to mother cats that we have rescued. Email: [email protected]

Meet Chance!

Chance will melt your heart with his sweetness. He insists on mouth kisses and is going to crawl into bed with you for love and snuggles. He only knows happiness and sweetness and is going to need a warm, loving home will give him all of the love and attention that he deserves.

Chance came into foster after being attacked by some type of animal. He had numerous injuries including multiple fractures in his paws. One paw is at a slight angle but healed and you wouldn't be able to tell as he parkours off of the arm chairs in his foster home. He is all healed and you may have seen our social media post asking for donation for his care.

Chance must be adopted with his outgoing "sister" Pancake but they are the best pair and love each other immensely.

He can be meet at his foster home in Pennsburg or one of our PetSmart locations, Collegeville or North Wales.

Roscoe is a handsome black kitten with a gentle, shy personality. He can be a little nervous when meeting new people, but underneath that cautious exterior is a sweet boy who just needs time, patience, and someone willing to help him discover how wonderful being loved can be.

Roscoe will need a cat-savvy adopter who understands that shy kittens don't always come out of their shells overnight. He is bonded with his best friend Rosie and would be happiest getting adopted with her.

Meet Sara - a sweet, friendly gray tabby with white chest and paws!

She would be so happy to be adopted with her social-butterfly brother, Bucky. Sara is the more laid-back sibling who both have distinctive "lynx" type ear tufts. Their estimated birthday is in April.

They will be available to be seen by appointment Saturdays & Sundays 12-4 at the Stray Cat Blues adoption center, located at 300 Water Loop Drive, Collegeville 19426 inside the Petsmart.

It is recommended to submit your application to be pre-approved prior to visiting the adoption center, if you plan to complete an adoption on the same day.

Meet Ragnar, Boots & BT! Three sweet boys, three big personalities, and all looking for their forever homes!

🧡 Ragnar is a 6-year-young orange love bug who may be shy at first, but blossoms once he feels safe. He loves other cats, especially his buddy Boots, and would love a home with a feline friend.

💙 Boots is a 4-year-old sweetheart who just needs a little patience to come out of his shell. He LOVES other cats, especially Ragnar. Boots is FIV+, but that doesn’t stop him from being a happy, loving boy!

🤎 BT was born in spring 2023 and is a total purr monster! He loves pets, headbutts, making biscuits, chatting, and being around other cats. He’d especially love to go home with Ragnar or Boots!

Hi, I’m Lil Mo, and I’m a sweet, loving girl who is ready to leave my outdoor days behind and find a forever home! 💕

I was being cared for at a small cat colony in Royersford when the wonderful folks there reached out to Stray Cat Blues and helped me get into foster care, along with several other friendly kitties.

Because I spent time living outdoors, I’m very food motivated and can be a little possessive around other cats, especially when food is involved. My foster mom thinks I could do well with another cat with a slow, proper introduction. I also seem to get along better with male cats than females, although that may simply be coincidence.

But when it comes to people, I am ALL love! 🥰 I’m incredibly friendly and affectionate and absolutely adore cuddling up for pets. I haven’t met children yet, but my foster mom thinks I’d be wonderful with them.

If you’re looking for a sweet, cuddly companion who will happily soak up all the love you have to give, Lil Mo might just be your girl! ❤️

🚨 LOST CAT: PLEASE HELP US FIND FRIEDA! 🚨

Frieda, a recently adopted kitty from Stray Cat Blues, is missing in Perkasie. She was last seen around 9:45 PM on Thursday, August 27, near the crossroads of 5th and Chestnut Streets.

Frieda is a brown tabby with beautiful green eyes, no teeth, and a clipped left ear. She is very sweet and affectionate.

Please keep an eye out for her and check around sheds, porches, bushes, garages, and other places where a scared kitty may hide. If you see Frieda or have any information about her whereabouts, please reach out to us right away with any sightings!
