Canton CT Food Bank Local food pantry established in 1983 by the community, for the community.

The Canton Food Bank works to help Canton residents with food assistance weekly with support from volunteers.

The Food Bank is closed today, Memorial Day. We will be open regular hours on Tuesday from 8:00 - 11:00. Thank you!

ShopRite in Canton supports our Food Bank in so many ways! They have given us a grant to purchase food from CT Foodshare for many years, they participate in the retail salvage program where we pick up food weekly and they also kindly individually pack our ground beef and chicken. They are a great example of a family owned business that cares about giving back to their community!

Big impact, right here in our community!
We're proud to share that in 2025, ShopRite of Canton has helped provide 23,086 meals to Connecticut Foodshare in the ongoing fight against hunger. Every meal represents hope, support and a strong community. Thank you to our customers, team members, and partners who make this possible every day. Together, we're making a difference!
