There are many ways of being "lost". Eternally lost. Directionally lost. Spiritually lost. Physically lost. Mentally lost. We are gonna address two types of "lost" in this message. Spiritually and doctrinally lost. A person can be saved but doctrinally lost. If we are to reflect Christ in our lives (since the Holy Spirit lives in all believers) we need to have the proper doctrine as is found in Apostle Paul's 13 Epistles from Romans to Philemon.

We go to school to get educated. We get jobs and go to work. We marry and start a family. We buy cars and homes. We buy lots of stuff. We get saved. We prepare for retirement and we prepare for death. But what is our true purpose? We have an understanding we will be in heaven with the Lord forever (if we are saved). But do we have a purpose while we are on this earth? Is it a little more than we imagined?Why would God put the Holy Spirit inside each believer? We have both a heavenly and an earthly purpose.

Would be pray more if we believed God at His word? Do you ever just go through the motions of prayer? You know, religiously speaking? Do you ever forget WHOM you are praying to? How many times are you only praying for the hearing of those in the room?

Does God's mercy have an expiration date? Can we live in such a way that God withdraws His mercy? Even though as believers by faith of what Jesus Christ did for us with His crucifixion, His death, His burial and His resurrection we know our salvation is secure. But what about those "s***m" issues that we never repent for? Adultery, po*******hy, embezzlement, gossip, never reading our Bible, anger without cause, drug and alcohol abuse, etc.... His mercy on S***m extended down to only finding 10 righteous people but it ceased there. Lot and his family were shown mercy by the angels literally dragging them by their hands/wrist. Lot's wife's mercy ended when she looked back. Please don't linger any longer. Please fix it.

Why did the Jews despise the Samaritans? Why did the Samaritans hate the Jews? Where was Samaria? What really happened at Jacob's well? What did the Samaritans believe? Are there any left today?

We cannot afford to let our emotions control us. It is estimated that 80% of our decision making is based on emotion. We have learned that our mental maturity is developed between 20-30 years of age. Studies have shown our emotional maturity completes its development between 30-40. Did you know the word "emotion" is not found in the KJV?

Was the Kingdom of Heaven ever actually offered to Israel? Or was it just preached and prophesied? What is really gonna happen at the 2nd Coming of Jesus after the 7 year tribulation? Will the people be crying out for His return?

There were 6 miracles recorded in the Bible surrounding the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus Christ. How many can you remember? How tall and thick was the veil? Was the entire earth covered in darkness? Did you know the tombs (graves) were opened? What day of the week was Jesus crucified? We really love our traditions, don't we?
