What do we do when we feel so far away from God? What about those times when we see no fruit production? It's like that same sin keeps popping up. It's funny that when plants are under stress it's the tips of the branches that get hurt the most. Those that are the farthest away. We really can't do much of anything without Christ. Remember, He never left you. It's me and you that drifted away.

Too often we lose control of our minds. How can this happen? How did we get ourselves in this predicament? We aren't talking about medical conditions that we have little control over. We are talking about what we let in our minds that can turn them into "pin ball" machines. We sure like our "5 senses" but they can really get us in trouble. What is sad is that we all know better.

Do you ever "lose" your mind? Sorta like when your car gets out of alignment. Drives a little funny. Steering wheel is crooked. Tires wear out. Stresses the suspension of your car. Hurts gas mileage. Sometimes our mind gets out of alignment. Worry, anxiety, frustration, disappointment, depression, etc. We are reminded of our mistakes, regrets, fears, etc. How do we deal with them? How should we deal with them? Maybe try this plan???? Our biggest battles are the ones nobody else sees.....

Which is more important? Your character or reputation? What's the difference? Your character is you in the "dark" and your reputation is you in the "light". Your reputation is known by others. Your character is known by God. Who in the Bible made Himself of "no reputation" but has been exalted with a name that is above every name? Ain't is amazing we can spend 15 years establishing a great reputation that can be destroyed in 5 minutes?

What was the first Epistle Apostle Paul wrote? Was it before the Gospels were written? Are you a "pre-trib", "mid-trib" or "post-trib" believer? What does the Bible say? Do get confused when we search for the Tribulation outside of Paul's Epistles? Will the Body of Christ be saved from the wrath? What about these "trumps"? Does 1 Corinthians 15:57 and Revelation 11:15 confuse you? Are we to be looking for Jesus or looking for the antichrist?

As we teach how to "rightly divide" the Scriptures per 2 Timothy 2:15, I came up with an analogy that helps me. Too many Christians try to make their Bibles like "Mashed Potatoes". They try and mash and make it all fit into one dish.I want to suggest to you to view your Bible as a "Loaded Baked Potato". Divide it. Put the sour cream here, the cheese there, the onions over yonder, bacon bits on top, salt here, fresh ground pepper there, etc. Mashed potatoes are good but a loaded baked potato is so much better.

We have faith because we believe the evidence and the witnesses. No matter if it's the gospel or the car salesman. We only believe what we want to believe. Think about this as it is so true. So many of us Christians are very capable of believing lies. How can we lead people to Christ if we don't believe the gospel of grace?
