PASSION PROJECTS ARE STARTING AT THE REFUGE!

We’re so excited to announce several new Passion Projects happening this fall! These are great opportunities to learn new skills, grow in your faith, and connect with others.

Mike Page — Circuit Boards
Learn about circuit boards and how they work!
Starts this week on Wednesdays

Sam Stitt — Biblical Finances
Learn what the Bible says about finances and how to handle your money in a biblical way.
Starts this week on Thursdays

Barbara Page — Card Making
Get creative using cardstock and other materials to make appreciation cards and other special creations!

Jonathan Lord — Bible Doctrine & Basics of the Faith
Learn more about the foundations of your faith and important biblical truths.
Starts in October on Tuesdays

We can’t wait to see what God does through these Passion Projects!

Refuge joined forces with Meadowcreek, Courtyard, and Forge Ministries to prepare, cook, and serve the high school football team and cheerleaders yesterday morning. It was an amazing time of coming together to do something great for our community. Shoutout to all of our Refuge volunteers, Meadowcreek for allowing us to use their facility and servers, Courtyard family for support, and Forge for cooking all of burritos out of their food truck! Go Cardinals!

HEY REFUGE FAM!!! Tomorrow night not only are we having Real Talk, but it’s a worship night!!! We will have our time of fellowship, games, worship, and we have a special guest speaker!!!! We cannot wait to see all the students and share the love of Jesus with them💗

Where: Refuge Community Center
When: 5:30-7:30 PM

Tell your friends, family, and anyone who may be interested!!! Students 6th-12th grade are welcome to come!

(We have regular refuge after school hours beforehand from 3:30-6:00)

MEET THE VOLUNTEER: ✨JORDON CROW✨
Jordon has been a big part of the Refuge since the very beginning! For the past 7 years, Jordon has helped serve with a selfless heart. He has impacted many Collinsville students’ lives by building relationships and showing them the love of Jesus. His heart is so big and he is so valued at the Refuge.

A little bit about who Jordon is:
- He is the youth minister at Collinsville Church of Christ
- He loves to do 3D printing
- His favorite worship song is “Goodness of God”
- He loves helping kids feel like they belong at the Refuge

Let’s give it up for Jordon!! We are so thankful for all you do at the Refuge, for the Collinsville community, and for God’s kingdom!👏🏼

Each and every one of us has some sort of weakness. I am so thankful to serve a God who can use our brokenness and imperfection for His glory! 2 Corinthians 12:9 says “My grace is all you need, my power works best in weakness. So now I am glad to boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ can work through me.”

Refuge is putting on a Family Pickleball Fundraising Event at ACE Pickleball Club on February 6th.

In order to cover the cost of court fees, food, prizes and t shirts we are looking for company sponsors. All money given and raised goes towards building up our Collinsville students to be successful, life changing citizens.
