Dear Lord,
As the children return to school, I ask that You place Your covering over them. Keep them safe, focused, and eager to learn. Help them to be attentive in class, respectful to all adults, and kind to one another.

Instill in them the understanding that education is a key to their future. May they develop the discipline to be self-starters, completing their homework and responsibilities with purpose and pride.

Lord, I thank You for all that You have done and continue to do. Your grace and guidance are everything.

Covington County School District is pleased to announce Mrs. Tanya Pickering, principal at Seminary Middle School, as the 2024-2025 District Administrator of the Year.

Mrs. Pickering is leading her school with academic excellence. Under her leadership, the school has received a B-Rating for two consecutive years.

Dear God,

As our children head back to school, we ask that you watch over them and keep them safe. Grant them wisdom, knowledge, and understanding as they learn and grow.

Help them to make good choices, to be kind to one another, and to be a positive influence on those around them.

Bless their teachers and educators with patience, wisdom, and creativity as they guide and mentor their students.

May this school year be filled with joy, laughter, and success. May our children be a light in their classrooms and schools, shining your love and grace to all those around them.

We pray for their physical, emotional, and mental well-being, and ask that you surround them with your peace and protection.
