WAGS Shelter

WAGS Shelter Where Animals Get Saved (WAGS) is an advocacy group that seeks to educate and bring awareness to the public about the horrors of puppy mills.

In addition, we partner with local shelters to help them care for their long-term dogs and to help offset the medical care for abandoned puppy mill breeders. We strive to provide an identity for our dogs, and our logo reflects this. The tag signifies both the dog's new identity as a part of the WAGS family as well as the ownership and companionship we hope to find for them in the future.

Yesterday WAGS began a public campaign to encourage adoption and educate about puppy mills! We've been put up on digital billboards in the Philadelphia and NJ area, and will have a vinyl billboard up by the end of the week. Help us spread the word and encourage adoptions this holiday season!

We're happy to announce that our last Chicago dog has been adopted. Jasper's foster family have become foster failures. They just couldn't resist his quiet charm and his love for them. Jasper is happy to share his forever home with three wonderful cats.

We just got an update from Niko's adopters (our parvo survivor) and she's a happy and healthy pup. She's gained 10 lbs and just completed her four weeks of training. They have her signed up for agility classes. She's turning into quite the dog.
