OASNJ is a non-profit, nonpolitical organization that provides services to people of all religions, concerned only with the health and welfare of CD/ostomates and their caregivers. It has IRS 501 (c) 3 Charity Status and is state sales tax exempt in New Jersey. OASNJ’s goal is to cooperate with medical, nursing, associated professions and allied agencies in the fulfillment of good patient rehabili

tation and care. It is managed by volunteers and organized to promote the health care of intestinal and urinary diversion surgery patients and their care-givers. Through the provision of peer support and information they assist their members with post-op rehabilitation, management of diversion, and, with the ability to attain their quality of life potential.
