Partnering with your child’s school is vital when it comes to successfully managing their food allergy!

Start by contacting your child’s school in writing. Ask for a meeting with school staff to develop a food allergy management plan for your child. This often includes the school or district nurse, the primary teacher, or sometimes the principal.

💬 'Why do you have a different lunch?' 'Why can’t you sit with us?' 'Why can't you try some of mine?' 'I don't believe you, I bet you just don't like it.'

Many kids with food allergies hear these types of remarks all the time; they carry a weight of responsibility that for some can turn into deep stress and anxiety.

Having to navigate all sorts of situations in order to remain safe, food allergies touch every part of a young person's daily life and school is a big part of a that life.

That’s why we developed Allergy School - a suite of FREE, expert-led online resources to support both kids with food allergies and school staff too.💡

Allergy School provides school leaders and teachers with the tools they need to:
✅ Understand and appreciate the complexities of food allergies and anaphylaxis
✅ Respond confidently in any allergic emergency
✅ Ensure their school/classroom/club setting is a safe place for allergic children

Let’s keep children safe.
Let’s make allergy training part of every school’s toolkit.

To every parent sending their allergic child off to school… 💜

We see you. We understand that knot in your stomach - you’re not alone.

The “what ifs” can feel overwhelming. The smallest mistake - a shared snack, a missed label, or a moment of misunderstanding can lead to a call from school, a trip to A&E, and lasting anxiety. That’s why it’s so important to trust that schools take allergies seriously.

Our children need more than lessons - they need to feel safe, understood, and included.

🌟 Schools can be equipped to do just this with Allergy School. Allergy School offers FREE, expert-led online resources that give school staff the confidence to keep allergic children safe while in their care.
