✨ 90 Years of Service, Friendship & Community Impact ✨

What a special day as we gathered for the Collierville Contemporary Club’s Annual Spring Luncheon to celebrate 90 years of service!

We were honored to receive a proclamation from the Governor of Tennessee, presented by Representative Ron Gant, recognizing the Club’s 90-year legacy of service and commitment to our community.

A special thank you to Boyle Insurance Agency for supporting our 90th Anniversary Celebration and Wall of History display. Their generosity helped us honor, celebrate, and preserve the rich legacy of the Collierville Contemporary Club and the generations of women whose service has shaped our organization and community over the past 90 years.

During the luncheon, we commissioned our new officers, celebrated our nonprofit partners, and continued one of our most cherished traditions—giving back to our community through proceeds raised from the Christmas Home Tour & Holiday Market.

We are grateful to the homeowners who graciously opened their homes, as well as the vendors, volunteers, supporters, and sponsors who helped make these events a success. Special thanks to John Green & Company Realtors, John and Sandy Barrios, Representative Ron Gant, Chad Kelsey, Patriot Bank Mortgage, and Jeff and Jane Crabtree for their generous support and partnership.

As we celebrate this milestone anniversary, we are grateful for all who have helped shape our story over the past 90 years and for those who continue to carry our mission forward. Here’s to the next chapter of serving this community we call HOME🏡

Nothing better than a day on the Square 🤍

We loved seeing familiar faces from our past Holiday Market vendors and meeting so many new ones at Fair on the Square. Local vendors, small businesses, and a whole lot of community—this is what makes Collierville so special.

The Collierville Contemporary Club is more than what many people see.
It’s a community built on lifelong friendships, service, and a shared commitment to supporting our town of Collierville.

In this edition of Rocking Chair Chats, we sat down with longtime member Betty to hear her memories, insight, and heart for this club and the impact it continues to have on our community.

Because behind every event we host is a group of women who care deeply about Collierville and the people who call it home. 🤍

The Collierville Contemporary Club hosted it’s monthly meeting Wednesday, April 16th at the Morton Museum. Our guest speaker was Director Lisa Plath of Collierville Burch Library. Mrs. Plath spoke about the history of the Lucius E & Elsie C Burch Jr Library and its connection to the Collierville Contemporary Club. Mrs. Plath expressed that libraries should adapt to the needs of their communities and continue to be centers of lifelong learning. The potential Library Expansion was presented. This expansion would provide a plethora of options and opportunities to the growing Collierville community. It is awaiting final approval from the Town of Collierville. You can help support this expansion by contacting your mayor and board of alderman, sharing your passion, and donating monetary gifts.
Please support your Collierville Library. You can follow the library and access it’s website, events calendar, & catalog at
