🚗VOLUNTEERS NEEDED🚗 to deliver bins of weekend food bags to the schools on Tuesdays between 11-11:30. Volunteers must be able to lift heavy items and have room in their car for up to 4 bins. 🚨PVYW is so proud to announce our guy Nick Pocetti placed 🥈SECOND🥈 at PJW State Championships today! 🚨

Nick showed up on Day 1 with a commanding 33 second pin and a 2nd period tech fall. Day 2, Nick got his opponent on their back in 24 seconds in the quarterfinals. Nick’s next match he won in a 9-0 major decision, to take him to the finals - with zero points scored on him.

Nick fought his heart out against another District XI wrestler Methacton’s Nick Warriner in the finals. These two have gone back and forth all season and this match was no different. Our Nick never quit and pulled out a takedown with 2 seconds left on the clock but was one point short - winning second place 🥈

Nick has represented our club so well this 25-26 season - not only in his wins but in how he took his (very few) losses and we know big things are on the horizon for this kid!!

Both Jagger and Nick each got 2 wins under their belts today, and Nick will move onto day 2 tomorrow for Quarterfinals.

PVYW is so very proud to have both boys represent our program as well as they have this year. Win or lose, they bring that Viking spirit 🧡

🚨 Big News - PVYW has its very own Keystone State Placer!!! 🚨

Nick Pocetti showed up to Keystones on fire! He came out of the gate on the first day with 2 first round pins - we think he’s been studying Luke Knox 😜 Day 2 he added another pin to his record, and a 5-2 decision - against an opponent who had previously beaten him that morning. That redemption win earned him 5th place and a spot on the podium.

To say we are proud of Nick and his hardwork is an understatement. He has impressed us all season and we cannot wait to see what next season brings for Nick! 🧡🧡🧡
