Methacton Community Theater

MCT MCT is an all-volunteer 501c3 community based group that has produced theater in Montgomery County since 1977.

We stage three shows per year at the Shannondell Performing Arts Theater in Audubon and two shows per year at the Variety Club campus in Worcester. MCT creates theater opportunities for everyone in our community. Whether you're a theater practitioner, a novice volunteer, or a member of our audiences we welcome you and hope to see you often. The entry fee includes 10 rounds of Bingo with 3 boards per round. Additional boards can be purchased at the event, along with daubers.

Methacton Community Theater’s Newsies has been more than a production — it has been a burst of courage, joy, and shared spirit, filling the house and lifting audiences to their feet.

MCT Newsies has been packing the house and bringing audiences to their feet. Our opening weekend clearly got the word out. Last night’s crowd was even bigger — just shy of 300 — and our cast kept the energy soaring, holding for laughs and earning thunderous applause. Clearly, the word is out that this show is a must-see, and audiences have been coming back for more.

So seize the day and join us tonight or for tomorrow’s closing matinee — you’ll be sorry you missed this!
