Who said the celebration of our Nations’s 250th Birthday had to end after the last 🎇 fireworks 🎆 on July 4th?!

We of course didn’t!!! It was a great night last night as we continued our 250th celebrations with our members, family, friends, and community during our July Community Dinner.

We had the pleasure to have the National American Miss, Miss Chattanooga, Ms. Kylie Dickson, be our guest speaker. It was a very learning experience about the National American Miss organization, what it means to be a City Queen, Kylie’s pathway leading to her current title, and about her personal endeavor, The Tomorrow Project. The Tomorrow Project aims to place a self regulation/sensory box in every school and classroom in Hamilton County Schools.

The food catered by Chefs4VetsUSA was tasty as always, and there were no leftovers at the end of the night.

It was a joy to see long time members, new families, elected officials, and community members come together for food and fellowship. As we head into the 2026-2027 VFW Fiscal Year, last night was a direct display of our Post’s 3 priorities: Membership, Community, and Camaraderie.

Our next Community Dinner will be on Thursday, August 13, 2026 @ 6:30 PM. Everyone is invited!
