At Texas A&M, the Mu-Gamma chapter was chartered on May 8, 1982, as one of the original five chapters at the University. Over 35 years later, Mu Gamma continues to have a strong presence and our mission is no secret—we aspire to create better men by striving for excellence in all that we pursue.

We would like to introduce our Brother of the Month, Danny O’Loughlin! Danny is an Accounting major from Dallas, Texas and a proud member of our Gamma Xi pledge class. Danny currently serves as our Guard, and plays a big role in rush, social, and philanthropy.
Outside of Kappa Sigma, Daniel is a part of the PPA program preparing to pursue a career in public accounting following graduation. This upcoming spring, he will be interning with Deloitte, where he will continue to build his experience in accounting .
Outside of school and the chapter, Danny enjoys weightlifting, mountain biking, and fishing.

We would like to introduce our Brother of the Month, Austin Williams! Austin is a Finance major from Southlake, Texas and a proud member of our Gamma Xi pledge class. Austin currently serves as our Treasurer, playing an important role in managing our chapter’s finances.

Outside of Kappa Sigma, Austin is preparing to pursue a career in private equity following graduation. This upcoming summer, he will be interning with Callipus Group, where he will continue to build his experience in finance.

When he’s not focused on school or his responsibilities within the chapter, Austin enjoys golfing, basketball, and spending time with friends.

We would like to introduce our Brother of the Month, Ryan Shook! Ryan is a Finance major from Round Rock, Texas and a proud member of our Gamma Xi pledge class. Ryan has served as our Treasurer for the past two semesters.

Outside of Kappa Sigma, Ryan is involved in Aggies on Wall Street and Titans of Investing, two organizations that reflect his drive, curiosity, and commitment to his future career. This past summer, Ryan interned in Goldman Sachs’ Investment Banking Division in Chicago, further developing his skills and passion for the field.

When he’s not working on school or leadership roles, Ryan enjoys going to church, hunting, fishing, backpacking, and spending quality time with friends and family.

Thank you, Ryan, for your leadership, hard work, and the steady energy you bring to our chapter. We are lucky to call you a brother!

Our brother, Ethan Rhoades, a senior and leader through IFC and Kappa Sigma at Texas A&M University, was recently diagnosed with stage 4 non-Hodgkins Burkitt’s lymphoma. He’s now undergoing treatment at MD Anderson in Houston, and we want to support him the way he has always supported others.

This collab post between Rhodes Headwear and the Aggie Kappa Sigma chapter is more than just a fundraiser. It’s about rallying our brotherhood and community around Ethan. Drew and Ryan Rhodes with Rhodes Headwear are both Aggie Kappa Sigmas as well, and we’re proud to stand alongside our brother in this effort.

We’re releasing a special hat, and 100% of the profits will go directly to Ethan’s GoFundMe to help with medical and living expenses during his fight. Ethan has always been the one to put others first, now it’s our turn to show up for him.

We would like to introduce our September Brother of the month, Owen Grey! Owen is a Junior Industrial Distribution major from New Braunfels, Texas and is a proud member of our Fall ‘23 Gamma Xi pledge class. Owen is our current Grand Scribe, overseeing many different committees. Last semester, Owen was our social chair.

When Owen is not busy with his Grand Scribe obligations, he likes to spend his time in the outdoors. His favorite activities are fly fishing and hunting.
