Brazos County First Responders Association

Brazos County First Responders Association Brazos County First Responders Association The Brazos County First Responder Association was created in 2014 in Brazos County.

The association is comprised of a Board with members from Brazos County law enforcement agencies as well as members of the fire service from Bryan and College Station Fire Departments. The association's primary fund raising event is an annual cookoff that is open to firefighters and law enforcement officers from the area. At the Brazos County First Responders Association, we’ve served the first re

sponder community here in the Brazos Valley for close to 10 years. The Brazos County First Responders Association was created after this community suffered the tragedy of losing Constable Brian Bachmann in 2012. Our organization was created after seeing the immediate needs that Constable Bachmann’s family endured after his tragic death. The Brazos County First Responders Association's goal is to provide financial support to local first responders in the event they become ill or injured in the line of duty and to fund scholarships for high school seniors of Brazos County First Responders..

CANCELLED--The Brazos County First Responders Association's 3rd Annual Chili Cookoff has been cancelled for January 24, 2026. This decision did not come easy, but with the continuing reports of inclement weather and icy road conditions, we could not have everyone at risk of the cold conditions, and more importantly, we didn't want people traveling on icy roads. If you registered your team ahead of time, refunds will be processed. Please watch for updates, as the chili cookoff will be rescheduled soon. Thank you for everyone's support, and we apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.
