Email us: [email protected] Since the Aggie Bonfire collapse in 1999, students at Texas A&M have been lacking in a single activity to unite the student body. We want to give something back to those students and the community we care so much about with an organization called BUILD. The purpose of BUILD is to unite the student body through a physically uniting effort. We do not want to replace the Spirit of the Aggie Bonfire. This project is intended to honor the Spirit that those Aggies, like thousands before them, cherished and became so passionate about while here at A&M. To focus on that Spirit, our first 12 Texas Aggie Medical Clinics (TAMC) constructed directly on campus grounds honor the memory of the 12 Aggies who lost their lives that November morning more than 13 years ago, and be donated in their names. We are asking Former Students and friends in our community to stand with the student body through our fundraising and project efforts both now and in the future. We want to create a lasting tradition that demonstrates our cherished core value of Selfless Service and unites the student body through a campus-wide effort. Our goal is to give students from all organizations, all academic colleges and all corners of Texas A&M a chance to effectively “swing a hammer.” We want all students to have an opportunity to share in the Spirit of Aggieland and join in the bonds of camaraderie that otherwise might never have formed.
