Most guys want exciting outdoor adventure with their friends. Trips and travel? That, too. Camping. Physical and mental challenge? Yep. Shooting sports? Absolutely! And awards? Of course! Trail Life USA is a Christian adventure, character, and leadership program for young men. The K-12 program centers on outdoor experiences that build a young man’s skills and allow him to grow on a personal level

and as a role model and leader for his peers. Living the Trail Life is a journey established on timeless values derived from the Bible. VISION

Our vision is to be the premier national character development organization for young men which produces Godly and responsible husbands, fathers, and citizens. MISSION

Troop TX-12 had a great Open House last week! Our Trailmen got to compete against the dads in a tug-of-war battle. The dads were beaten until they added a 3-to-1 pulley to the mix and were then able to demonstrate how effective these can be to increase leverage.

Our Ranger made the point that this is like having God in our lives, and that He can help us overcome obstacles as we trust in Him.

Troop TX12 honored our Trailmen at our Trail Crossing ceremony. This was a time to reflect back on the past year, and look forward to a great year ahead! We had a visit from knights of yore where they challenged our troop to Walk Worthy (Col 1:10). We ended by considering the words of the Psalmist where we learn that "God is our refuge and Strength..." (Ps 46:1).

Troop 12 had a great tour at the College Station Police Department this past week! The Trailmen got a peek into the lives of our Peace Officers who help keep our city safe. It was a good opportunity to explore what it means to serve the community.
