Good morning and happy Monday everyone!

This past March 27th - 30th, CHT hosted Art Camp 2026 at the John Newcombe Tennis Ranch in New Braunfels, TX. For anyone not familiar with this event, it is one of CHT's two biennial events and is three days of learning new skills, relaxation and reconnecting with old friends and making new ones in the beautiful hill country of Texas! We had a wonderful time this year!

Thank you to our Art Camp 2026 Chair, Athena Luong, and her team of volunteers for their hard work. They are who made this year's event so successful!

This year's activities included Basketry, Passementerie, Baltic Weave, Beading and Visible Mending. As you can see from the photos, we have some very talented members and many gorgeous projects came out of this camp!

Work has already begun on Art Camp 2028. Keep late March 2028 open on your calendar and we will share the dates as soon as they are confirmed. Donna Vaughan is our Art Camp 2028 Chairman and welcomes input and volunteers.

Our next big event will be Conference 2027 at the Hilton Hotel in College Station, TX. Keep the dates open, Wed, May 19 - Sun, May 23 2027. Darcy Fabre is the chairman for this event and has been hard at work with her team of volunteers putting together all the details. More details will be shared as they are confirmed.

Have a great week!
