That’s a wrap on the 2026 District 5910 Conference! 💙💛⚙️

Our final day was a fantastic close to an inspiring weekend as District Governor Charlie Gilliland wrapped up the conference and Rotary Foundation Vice Chairman Greg Podd led an engaging Q&A session with attendees.

We also heard incredible stories about the impact of global grants supported by our district, got a preview of what’s ahead for the 2027 and 2028 District Conferences, and looked forward to the 2027 Rotary International Convention in Barcelona.

There was so much valuable information shared that we’ll be highlighting some of our favorite takeaways in future posts, so stay tuned!

Thank you to everyone who planned, presented, volunteered, and attended. We leave energized, inspired, and ready to put new ideas into action as we continue serving our community and the world through Rotary. 💛🌎

✨ An unforgettable evening at the Rotary District 5910 Conference! ✨

Tonight, Rotarians from across the district gathered for the Governor’s Triple Crown Gala, celebrating a year of service, leadership, and making a difference in our communities.

From honoring outstanding clubs and members to reflecting during the Celebration of Life and recognizing the incredible impact of Rotary throughout District 5910, it was an evening filled with inspiration and fellowship.

Thank you to everyone who has dedicated their time, talents, and hearts to Service Above Self. Together, we’re creating lasting change—one project, one partnership, and one community at a time. 💙💛

Yesterday we had a double hitter at our Rotary Club of College Station meeting! ⚾️

Instead of one speaker, we had the pleasure of hearing from two outstanding guests.

Scott Kirk, Executive Vice President of the Bryan Yard Dogs, gave us an inside look at the exciting journey of bringing Bryan’s newest baseball team to life. From the vision and planning to the challenges and opportunities along the way, Scott shared what it takes to build a team that will not only entertain fans but become a source of community pride for years to come.

Peggi Ondrasek with the B/CS Chamber of Commerce spoke about the Chamber’s impact on local businesses, its role in strengthening our community, and how Rotary can become even more engaged to help our club grow and serve.

Thank you both for getting up early to join us and share your knowledge, passion, and vision for the future of the Brazos Valley. We appreciate the partnership and community spirit you bring to our area!

🇺🇸 Memorial Day is a time to remember and honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our nation. Their courage and sacrifice will never be forgotten.

Today, members of the Rotary Club of College Station joined fellow community members at the memorial service at VFW Post 4692 to reflect, remember, and honor those who gave all. We are also proud to have veterans among our Rotary family whose service continues to strengthen our community every day.

At Rotary, Service Above Self is more than a motto — it’s a commitment to serving others and giving back.

❤️🤍💙

(And yes — if you’ve seen us around town lately, Lucky Duck Bingo is right around the corner. Community service continues all year long. 🦆)
