CARPOOL is overjoyed to announce that we have been selected for the 2025–2026 Adair Awards for Sponsored Program of the Year for our Free Ride-Share Program!

In just one year, CARPOOL has reached 298,000 rides since running in 1999, provided 500 rides in the fall semester alone, increased membership by 400%, launched a new and improved website, relaunched our Drunk Driving Impact Panel, improved ride efficiency by 2x, and hosted our first banquet.

We are incredibly honored to receive this recognition and so proud of everything our members, officers, and supporters have accomplished. Thank you to everyone who has helped make CARPOOL’s mission possible.

Our Drunk Driving Impact Panel was a huge success! 🚗💚

A special thank you to our incredible panelists, Megan Buck, Matthew Luper, and CJ Bridges, for sharing their knowledge and real-world perspectives, and to our Director of Outreach, Breanna Hernandez, for bringing this event to life.

From legal consequences, to firsthand experiences from paramedic responders, to education on alcohol use from a TAMU health educator, we gained meaningful insight into the true impact of drunk driving.

Thank you to everyone who came out, we hope you left as informed and inspired as we did!
