Senior Sunday Shout Out! Jacqueline Geminden is a Buffalo 4-H Club Member who will be studying at Navarro College to finish her basics then transfer to a university to study early childhood development. During her high school career, she participated in marching & concert band, FFA and participated in rifle shooting sports advancing to state through 4-H. We wish Ms. Geminden the best of luck as she begins her next chapter at Navarro and we know she will continue to strive "To Make the Best Better" in all that she does! Congratulations & Best of Luck on your future endeavor Jackie!

Senior Sunday Shout Out! Brackyn Frederick is a Normangee 4-H Club Member who will be training at White Elm Wellness Institute & Training Spa to become an aesthetician! Throughout her school career, she participated in National Honor Society, Volleyball, Softball, Golf, Cheer, FCCLA, FFA, Peer Mediation, & served as a Class Officer! Through 4-H she exhibited lambs, steers, rabbits, heifer, pig, food challenge and photography. We wish Ms. Frederick the best of luck as she begins her next chapter as an aesthetician and we know she will continue to strive "To Make the Best Better" in all that she does! Congratulations & Best of Luck on your future endeavor Brackyn!

Recap from Thursday, June 4th at TX 4-H Roundup! 💚🍀🤩
Chaz competed in livestock judging & Mrs. Haley volunteered. John competed in Poultry Judging. Chaz, Kason & John attended workshops. Mr. Mike volunteered with public speaking. Mrs. Cassie was superintendent of an educational presentation contest & Mr. James Rodell & Mrs. Jennifer Weaver volunteered as judges! John received a $20,000 HLSR scholarship! Mr. Jacob shuttled kids around all day! We all had a blast at the Aaron Watson Concert while Mrs. Cassie & Mr. Jacob volunteered at the TAE4HYDP pizza fundraiser! See ya next year at TX 4-H Roundup! 🍀💚👏

Today the last Landry kid, John, walked across the stage at TX 4-H Roundup to receive a TX 4-H Foundation Opportunity Scholarship in the amount of $20,000 from the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo Scholarship! John’s first time at roundup was in 2018 when he sang the national anthem! All the Landry siblings have received an HLSR scholarship with 4-H & attended Texas A&M- Whoop! We’re very proud of John & wish him the best in the Fighting TX Aggie Band!

Chaz competed in Range Evaluation while Kason, Carly, Abigail, Haylen, Jevin & Chaz attended workshops including: Media Training with KBTX, Pitch & Switch and Mental Health/Floral Design! John was awarded 1 of his 4-H Scholarships! Travis, 4-H Alumni is also serving as a TX 4-H Roundup College Intern! We all toured the new TX 4-H Headquarters! They all danced the night away while Mrs. Cassie volunteered at the craft booth with TAE4HYDP! Mrs. Novalene volunteered with Entomology ID & Mr. Mike volunteered with CDM and Mrs. Cassie celebrated another birthday at Roundup! 1 more day left! 🥳💚🍀👏
