MSC Visual Arts Committee The MSC Visual Arts Committee (VAC) provides Texas A&M with art exhibitions (including student art work), gallery programs, artist residencies and travel.

The MSC Visual Arts Committee:
-Sponsors exhibitions in various galleries on campus and throughout the community.
-Selects the artists to be featured in the VAC gallery.
-Installs the artwork.
-Creates programming to compliment the exhibition, including artist presentations, demonstrations, lectures, and hands-on activities.
-Provides art exhibition opportunities for students at Texas A&M University.
-Sponsors the annual juried student art contest, ArtFest, every spring.

Our newest exhibit is now open! ArtFest is the annual student art competition and exhibition sponsored by the Memorial Student Center’s Visual Arts Committee. ArtFest 2026 will be on display in the James R. Reynolds Student Art Gallery from March 4 to April 26, 2026. The top three winners of ArtFest will receive a cash prize. Winners will be announced publicly at the reception on April 15, 2026 from 7 p.m. – 9 p.m. in the James R. Reynolds Gallery.

Howdy Texas A&M Students!

The Memorial Student Center Visual Arts Committee invites you to share your artistic talent! Every spring, all Texas A&M students have an opportunity to display their artwork in the James R. Reynolds Gallery in the annual ArtFest competition. Artfest 2026 will be on display from March 4th through April 26, 2026. The top three winners will receive cash prizes; $100 for best film, $100 for best overall, $75 for second place and $50 for third place!

Here’s how to submit your art!
Read the ArtFest 2026 Rules and follow the instructions carefully
Complete the Artist Form Online You will receive an automatic email copy of your submission form as confirmation.
Pay your Submission Fees at the MSC Box Office. Tickets are on sale for $8 per entry on February 7th (max limit of 3 for $24).
Drop off your artwork(s): bring your artwork(s) and submission tickets to the James R. Reynolds Gallery during the week of February 23, 2026. (Film submissions can be sent by file transfer to [email protected], or brought to us on a USB data stick.)
*Anyone who purchases an entry ticket or fills out the Artist Form will receive an email with specific drop-off dates before February 23.
