Howdy! We are the Q***r Empowerment Council at Texas A&M University! We act as the umbrella org for LGBTQ+ student organization on campus.

We exist to advocate for and hold events for q***r people and allies in and around campus.

Howdy! This Friday, we are hosting The Coming Out Monologues, an event where you can hear the stories of local members of the LGBTQ+ community. TCOM will be on April 17th at 7:00 pm in Rudder Forum, and the event is free of charge. If you can't make it in person, don't worry, because we will also offer a virtual live stream for the event so you can still tune in. We hope to see y'all there! 💜

The Coming Out Monologues is a space for truth, vulnerability, and powerful storytelling. Whether you’re sharing your voice or listening with love, join us in person or via livestream as we celebrate identity, resilience, and community.

Free to perform. Open to all 18+.
Submissions due Feb 27 at 5 PM (scan the QR or see link in bio!)

Join QEC and TASS for Hearts & Crafts on Feb 11 for an evening of creativity, connection, and Valentine’s‑season joy.

We’ll have everything you need to make handmade Valentine’s cards, plus coloring pages, snacks, and plenty of space to unwind with friends old and new. Whether you’re crafting for someone special, celebrating self‑love, or just here for the vibes, you’re welcome at our table.

Academic freedom at Texas A&M is under threat. The Q***r Empowerment Council and our affiliated organizations release a joint statement on academic freedom.

Censorship has no place in a university. Students deserve the full truth. Faculty deserve the freedom to teach it.
