Southwood 4-H Club Brazos County, TX

Southwood 4-H Club Brazos County, TX The Texas 4-H and Youth Development Program is part of the Texas AgriLife Extension Service of the Texas A&M System.

What is in 4-H?-the heart of a young person’s 4-H experience is being able to participate in the countless opportunities and projects that 4-H has to offer. From raising an animal to lifting a rocket into the sky, 4-H provides the outlet to explore the world, and universe! Through a project, a 4-H member learns responsibility, working with others, learning by doing and another value, life-skills.

While many projects in 4-H are coordinated on either the county or club level, some projects may be concluded on an individual, or a self-directed, basis. Either way, a young person in 4-H has the opportunity to explore their interest and learn about new and exciting topics. Go to http://texas4-h.tamu.edu/projects/projects/index_projects.php for a complete list of projects.

Just doing a wellness check on all the 4-H families working on record books this weekend. Remember when animals were easier to manage than the paperwork and getting your child to sit down for more than 5 minutes. Those were good times. πŸ˜‚πŸ‘πŸ“šπŸšœ
