Howdy Animals,

On Days 5 and 6, the fish experienced their fish Yell, a special yell practice for incoming freshman cadets during Fall Orientation Week (FOW). They also learned how to properly set up their uniforms and got into the history and traditions of the Corps and A&M.

After a long week of learning and training, these fish are ready for fish Review tomorrow! 🐾

Howdy Animals!

Today, the fish took the first step in becoming true members of the A-1 family with their fish cuts. More than just a haircut, fish cuts mark the beginning of their journey a tradition that represents growth, change, and the transformation they’ll carry with them throughout their time in the Corps. 💈✂️

Howdy Animals!

Before we close out the night, we want to highlight our last Cadre Spotlight of the day: Mr. Nicolas from the Rio Grande Valley!

Mr. Nicolas is majoring in Political Science with a minor in Military Studies. After graduation, he plans to commission as an officer in the U.S. Army.

His advice to the Class of ’30:
“Run faster.”

With that, we wrap up today’s Cadre Spotlights! We’re excited for Cadre Week and grateful for all the cadre who will help lead, mentor, and develop the next generation of Animals.

Gig ’em!
